Half Price off Storewide (Excludes Clearance & Gift Cards) @ Briscoes

320

Not sure if you post these types of sales on here but worth a share.

Great if you want to pick up a Breville coffee machine or KitchenAid as those very rarely go 1/2 off.

I waited for the Breville express impress to go on sale end of last year and thought I got a good deal with $765 and now it’s $685.

Breville Barista Express Coffee Machine BES870BSS $575.

These sales are definitely posted on Cheapies.
Here is last years post with comments.
    Great find.

Free Shipping and $10 off $50 codes

  • Got some oral B toothbrush heads.

    • Check prices. Looked at the sensitive and cheaper at Chemist Warehouse

      • Cheaper with $10 off $50 spend.
Or price beat 10% saves extra $2

If you bought something in the last 14 days and it’s cheaper now then use their chat bot to get a refund or take your receipt in store. I got another $200 off a Vitamix I bought last week.

    • Which Vitamix did you get? I'm trying to decide between the 2 but can't find good comparisons

      • Sorry a bit late on the reply. Got the E320, friends have the E310 I believe and it works very well. I don't need any of the extras.

  • Good price on the coffee machine cheapest ive seen is 599 at costco and in sure you can knock off more with briscoes codes.

  • Best time to buy the dynamic duo!

  • Damn, passed on a Kitchenaid tin opener at the start of the week as it was $50 in store but only $17.50 through Catch.co.nz, however with their shipping it appears I've paid $2 more than I could have I'd waited until this weekend.

Regarding manual tin openers, I ended up doing tests and checking reviews on a bunch of them, and ended up getting these EZ-Duz-It ones from Amazon US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011C4OP5I which are recommended by lots of comparison tests (eg https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-can-opener/).

The twin pack is just under NZD$50, and I just waited until I had the free shipping total in my US basket (about $80 I think).
They are built much more solidly than the Brabantia or KitchenAid ones and should last for ages.

  • A once in a lifetime opportunity! 😁

This particular sale doesn't roll around often, it includes items that don't normally get the higher discounts applied to them (like Vitamix)

      • Happens twice a year and you're right, definitely the time to buy coffee machines Ave Vitamix

Also: Sodastream 60L gas $20 and syrup $5.75

    • Thanks, also refills $13.50

Got Mitre 10 to pricematch the Creami :) Grand total of $212.50. Note we did have pushback about the model numbers being different to the briscoes website (NC300ANZ 800 watt model) but went to our local briscoes and the model is the same! Briscoes just hasnt updated their website.

    • Can always trust a Cheapie to have the Creami in their sights AND get a better deal on it. If i could upvote your comment again, i would

    • Oh interesting, I'd never seen an ice cream maker in that form

  • These samsung galaxy earbuds pro 2 white look like might be cheapest price you can get at the moment.

18 pack of AAA Panasonic batteries for $9.99
    https://www.briscoes.co.nz/product/1089772/panasonic-alkalin…

    • They also have the buds fe for $100 which isn't a bad price.

    • That is a pretty good deal for that type of camera.

Attempting a price-beat at Bunnings right now, would bring the 2 pack down to $403, the 4 pack comes down to $680. (Only 2 that Bunnings also stocks)

Bit late to make a post, but fingers crossed - thanks for the heads up!

      • Good luck.

I feel Bunnings will argue the model number isn't the same as theirs is T8853CD1 while Briscoes and NL is E8853CD1. They would've got Eufy to chnage the model number just to avoid any price beating.

      • One model has the battery back up and the other does not as in Noel Leeming

  • Coffee machine - Are these any good?

    Great reviews

    • Not bad starting machine at all. If budget allows the pro/touch is better overall though.

    • I have it . If you have the time and patience (and enjoy the process) to fiddle with the grind and amount , then it makes REALLLY good coffee. Ever since buying one I have lost the love to buy a café coffee. Been using it for almost 3-4 years. Solidly made.

Also remember the right beans is half the taste.

  • Oral B brush heads are also cheap. They don't normally give 50% off them.

  • I was too slow. I was going to get a Kitchenaid mixer to upgrade from the mini I got last year but no stock in store and it's off the website as well.
