Yeah, although I'm surprised by that.
We got the Xiaomi gen1 years ago when it first released and it's still going strong.Sounds like their recent ones have gone down hill…
stay away from robot vacuums without decent sensors like lidar, they are trash
Even their very first vacuum from back in 2016 had LIDAR, crazy they took it away from some recent models.
What do you think about Lubluelu robot vacuums? Seem to be quite popular on Ozbargain.
Got an SL60D and it definitely punches above its weight.
I would disagree. The older 1c model I have is great and have been using it for awhile now. It doesn't have lidar but it is fine without it. I know atleast 4 people who have same model and all use them without issues. Pretty sure many cheapies here would be happy with it as well.
So assuming that without lidar it is trash is simply not true.
By the way I won't recommend the newer model though. Get the higher model which is for $499 on MI Store.
Same sort of feeling here as ace310, also have older 1C model and it still works great, they have the optical camera sensor on top and mapping works well.
I'm looking for a replacement as the battery is getting abit tired after years of vacuumsthe battery looks to be replaced with a little bit of effort:

Great! Thank you, I'll check it out
So many bad reviews though.
