Emperor Plastic Film Wrap with Dispenser 330mm x 600m $30.48 + Shipping ($0 C&C Christchurch) @ The Packaging Company

70

I never realised that we could purchase large food wraps at such a low price. I now feel stupid for consistently buying the expensive ones from the supermarket.

If you're not in Christchurch and can't do C&C, buy from Kiwi Office as they offer cheaper shipping rates ($6.9).

  • Thanks OP, just ordered one, these are good quality, usually I just get the 150m Amanda cling wrap from Woolworth.

  • +1

Pams Cling Wrap refill 60m $3.29
    4U Cling Wrap with slider 100m $6.79 | 200m $11.99
    Source: grocer

    • I think I've bought the 200m 4u for under $10 before although that was maybe 1-2 year ago. As with a lot of things PaknSave, you're best off if you keep an eye out for the deals rather than just buying whatever is cheapest that week.

      • That's not bad but it seems that 4U products are not available in the South Island.

        • I think the Pams ones can also be quite cheap although I at least in West Auckland I've generally found 4u the cheapest per /m over time. (I mean I don't look that carefully, maybe start to hunt and then generally buy it within 1-2 months.)

        • Pams Cling Film 100m $2.99 and available in South Island. Source: Grocer.

Its cheaper but I do miss having a giant roll of cling film.

    • Yeah the 60m will sometimes drop to $2, I always but a few when it's on sale. I prefer the smaller rolls as they're easier to handle

  • Gilmours 330mm 600m wrap is $18.88.

    • Link?

        • Also being that it is Gilmours that is excluding GST. Simple to get an account now and a lot of stores don't even "require" it instore. Honourable mention since included in OP, the product is from China. (oops didn't look at second image)

          • @memske: I was trying to find if it was including or excluding but couldn't see it anywhere.

          • +1

@memske: Do you go to Gilmours often? I'm wondering if I should go there to buy some stuff.

            • @Bill: They pretty much operate under their "All prices for goods exclude Goods and Services Tax" which you will only find in their Terms of Trade.

            • @Bill: Not as often as I probably should, only for particular items that I can only find there or when I am near there and need something in particular. (bit of a trek for me). I only got online access recently to be able to check prices which will probably influence if I go.

        • I see, that's for business owners.

          • @xsolider: I don't own any business, and I somehow have an account. I don't remember what I did to sign up. I only have a Cash 'n Carry one though, so I can't buy online. I never even go there, maybe I should.

            • @Bill: Gilmour's is North Island. They operate along with Trent's in Christchurch. But non business people can't get a card to buy in Christchurch.

              • @Christo: Gilmours is also supposed to be buying on behalf of a business too according to their website.
