Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. ( Chinese : 魅族科技有限公司, or simply "Meizu" ( Chinese : 魅族 ; pinyin : Mèi Zú )) is a Chinese electronics manufacturer from Zhuhai. Meizu has created phones and music players and has developed the M6 Mini Player, the M3 Music Card, released in March 2007, and the M8 miniOne mobile phone, released February 2009.The company later planned to release another MP3 player based on the M8 miniOne, named the M7, but cancelled it. Meizu has official stores located in mainland China and Hong Kong. Meizu has recently released its new smartphone in both mainland China and Hong Kong, calling it the Meizu MX and is in one of best selling Chinese smartphones. The company has also released a new OS called Flyme.
