Shame that Paknsave fuel is 6-8 cents cheaper without discount,then 6c discount forstore purchases. Havnt used smart fuel in ages, caltex and BP need to get it together.
Smart Fuel works out better if you can be bothered only filling $40 at a time.
I always fill 40 at a time, but what I'm getting at is the 10c discount on smart fuel is a worse deal if the pns discount is 6c and the base price is 6-8c lower (invercargill cheapest BP and caltex vs pns). Only time I use smart fuel now is if I don't have a pns docket or they aren't open as they seem to turn off pumps after 9. Fuel prices down here are a lot worse than up north and retailers are also taking advantage often increasing price by 4-6c the day of a smart fuel promo.
