It says this thing can do low current charging. First time I see a battery that can do this. Nice one. Don't know if it's legit tho. Anyone can confirm??
Their rep said "Yes, these are both certainly genuine Xiaomi products." on ozb. So pay with PayPal and worst case you can dispute.
Yoshop are owned by the same group who own Gearbest, Everbuying etc. I'd be pretty confident about their authenticity, as always you have PayPal protection if not. The only unknown for me is postage time, as long as you don't need it in a rush then purchase.
Has anyone had trouble importing powerbanks with the lithium battery regulations?

Well I've ordered one like 3 months ago from banggood came through no issues. Will see with these.
This isn't related to importing, but one reason I'd buy a power bank is to travel with it. And air new zealand have very specific requirements when it comes to the capacity of the battery, and whether it's allowed in carry-on/check-in luggage.

FYI in Oct, Nov last yr took a 10000mah Xiaomi silver fatty on my carryon through Europe, UK, hongkong, uae, via a transit in Aus. Had no issues. All airlines were pretty much has to be no more than 20000mah and taken on carryon.

I gave my brother one of these a while back. Just a few days ago his was confiscated on a domestic flight. He had it in his checked bag, not his carry-on.

Yeah I was surprised too, maybe they're amping up their crackdown. The flight was Auckland -> Wellington - Jetstar.
Actually think they might be allowed carry on only. Explains why I've never had issues.
