Dick smith is having 14% off for 14 minutes only today. Very low exclusion list compared to the usual discount codes and doesn't appear to be a maximum discount as such, so might be the time to jump on big ticket items or items usually excluded from codes.

Valid from 6:14pm - 6:28pm NZT on Saturday 14th February 2015. Only 1 (one) discount per transaction per customer is permitted.

    Only the stuff under $99 could be a reasonable deal, any other week the $20 off 99+ is better value

      Yeah no good for something around the $100 mark, but if you go high end it works out much better, usually the best you can get is $80 off $1000 (8% off), so 14% off is an extra $60 off the usual discount like that TV in the post. Even for something $300 upwards the 14% is better than the usual $40 off $300 spend and you don't have to spend right on to get the best discount (for example if you spent $400 you'd get $56 off but you'd usually only get $40 off).

      Good if you got your eye on something, find something on special or want something that is usually on the exclusion list for those code deals they have all the time as this exclusion list is very small.
