Using American pop star Beyonce as her inspiration, Rose Kirkup performs I Am Tasha Fierce at BATS Theatre. The play tells the story of a small-town girl who moves to the big city to follow her dreams and live as a strong independent woman. BATS Theatre, 8.30pm. Tickets $20/$15 concession from bats.co.nz. Runs till April 1.
