Excellent. I shall be checking Gaspy but from a cursory glance of todays rates standard 10c off should make Gull D-93.7, 91U-164.7, 98U-196.7. Seeing Caltex or BP match these would be great.
Unfortunate there's only self service here so there's no discount coupons available.
That's a bit unusual. Gull usually do their discount days about a week after their previous discount coupons (which they give out during the last discount day) expire. The discount coupons for this period expires April 15th.
AFAIK They do it so people can't use their coupons during the discount day.
Trying to beat the easter rush I guess. Noticed they didn't do this last year. Maybe the market is a bit more competitive now?
Waitomo's been expanding in Auckland, and they're sometimes cheaper than Gull.
apparently you can use the coupons/voucher. This comment from Gull.
"check the back of the voucher first of all, if the date is still valid and you spend the required amount as per the voucher, then you're welcome to use it at one of our manned sites tomorrow"
Yeah I noticed the same thing but only belatedly since I filled up last week with $50. I was fairly sure Gull was going to have a discount day this week since they always seem to have them before the holidays. I just assumed without really checking that the voucher was expiring on Sunday just past. I was surprised to find it expired on the 15th. Maybe they felt it would be too short otherwise. I suspect the number of people who still have them by now is small anyway.
The 7am to 7pm thing is annoying. Hopefully they at least have 15 cents or more to make up for it.

The 12hrs thing got me, I didnt have time to fill up then and the stations are packed enough at that time on discount day, let alone one expiring soon. Urgh. Went to caltex instead, because i dunno, techron or something?
Great to see lots of fuel discounts. Z Energy at Auckland Airport, however, has raised their prices by around 5cents/litre, just in time for Easter! And when most other petrol stations have dropped their prices. Gotta feel for those tourist and rental car drivers :)
I drive past that station every day and would never dream of filling up there (always overpriced), I'm convinced its a tourist trap.
emm… it is a tourist trap! No wonder they have no trouble doing a poopoo on the roadsides…
