Not sure if this will cut the mustard in a NZ winter but it's good for under the desk at work.

  • good for work but if you use it home the electricity $$$ are insane hah

      Good option if you're only heating yourself or a small room. All electric space heaters have the same thermal efficiency so unless you upgrade to a heat pump, you don't have much of a choice. Fan heaters do circulate hot air better though.

    • costs to produce the same amount of heat are exactly the same as any other heater that you plug in. Only cheaper option is a heatpump.

    Bunnings have recently recalled their Moretti branded oil column heater after overseas reported that two models could spray hot oil and scald users. They have also halted all sales of their Click branded oil column heaters as well.

    It's 2000W, the running costs are pretty straight forward..

    Power in my flat costs just under 20c/kWh, so that would be 40 cents to run this for an hour.
