This is a lifetime license, they don't sell them anymore. It seems that most retailers sold them back but they weren't forced to. Appears that these are some of those.

      • Oh sorry my bad

      • I thought they compensated life time membership owners with a free year of service instead, at the same time they gave pirates a discount.. I could be wrong though. Anyways, very nice antivirus

        • Na, lifetime licenses were left as is. It's only new sign ups that are put onto the yearly subscription. I've got a couple of lifetime ones now, it's really good software.

  • Pretty sure these are just resold Lifetime keys because Malwarebytes have officially stopped selling them. I still have my key from years ago and can activate it on multiple computers but only 1 at a time.

    • From what I gathered from the OzBargain discussion they are keys that weren't sold back when the system was changed, but I'm still waiting to hear back from MalwareBytes about it.

      • Not sure what you mean by sold back but they probably bought a ton of these keys years ago through sites such as stacksocial and now are selling them at these prices. I remember getting mine for around $5-10 back then. Its a pretty good deal for a lifetime key but do note that your money won't go to the Malwarebytes company.

They had a similar deal before on OzBargain where one of the associates replied to the thread : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/312504

Just FYI, I have since heard back from MalwareBytes support, this is their response:

Thank you for your patience about this issue. It took some time to have the information of the license. So far there are nothing that looks suspicious and you are good to use it.

    Thank you for your patience!

    Best regards,

Should now be little doubt about the legitimacy of the licenses being sold.

    • Thanks for taking time to investigate the product we sell on our marketplace. People like you make the cyber world a better place.
