Warehouse Mobile - Prepay Plans

170

The Warehouse made significant changes to their mobile plans at the end of July which makes them very competitive for the low user now (apologies if it's already been posted but I couldn't find a similar post)

Pick'n Go Packs
- Unlimited NZ texts $4
- 120 mins NZ Talk $4
- 500MB data $4
- 1GB data $8
- 4GB data $30

All packs are valid for 31 days - this is better than some other providers who's monthly plans are only 28 days (allowing them to bill you one extra month per year)

Data has rollover up to 90 days

Low everyday rates
2c per text
4c per minute
6c per MB

90 day rollover credit - topup within 90 days of a previous topup and the expiry date of any unused credit will be extended by 90 days

Im on this plan at the moment. Basically just paying for 500mb of data each week and whatever minutes/txt I use.

Saves quite a bit compare to other providers

    • Do you happen to know if the $4 charge of their simcards come with any credit?

      • no sadly

      • What do you mean by "the $4 charge on their simcards?"
I got my sim card free from them? (Manukau Warehouse)

        • the warehouse sells the simcard by itself for $4 thats what i meant.

        • @Tomo:
Yeah I walked up to the electronics section and asked the teller if i could have a warehouse sim card he went out back to get one and I pulled out my eftpos card and he said its free.

(I even checked the warehouse online prior to walking in knowing it costed $5 so i thought it strange perhaps hes new?)

        • @Kenkade:

I got my 2degrees Multi SIM Swap for free too at The Warehouse Manukau which costs $5 on 2degrees' website.

      • Bought my sim for 5 dollars and when I activated they have me 5 dollars credit. Not sure if that still the case.

      • Bought mine last week from the warehouse for $4 and came with $5 credit.

  • Topups ($10 minimum) now last 90 days, which is much better. Previously you have to put in $10 minimum every month.

If you put in another $10 within those 90 days the previous credit will carry over.

  • Does anybody know the warehouse mobile sim card expired date if I don't top up. 1 Year like Vodafone. I didn't find the description on its website

    • 90 days plus if you topup within that 90 days you get an extra 90 days.

  • Can anyone explain to me how the data rollover works? If I spend $10 (min top-up) to buy 1GB for $8 can I use that data over a 90 day period without paying anything more? The wording on the website is ambiguous (to me, at least).

"31 Day Roll Over Data — At the end of 31 days any unused data can roll over for up to 90 days. Just purchase another data pack prior to expiry"

If you buy an $8 1GB data pack at the end of 31 days it will expire. However if you buy another data pack before the 31 days is up then the old data is rolled over (so you may get 1.5GB of data for example). The old data can be rolled up to 90 days.

So yes you have to buy a data pack every 31 days but you may be able to get away with a $4 pack instead of $8

      • Thanks — YOUR explanation makes total sense. Their explanation could be read that it expires after 90 days, since that's how long it lasts so long as you renew before it expires… a bit recursive for me :p

  • Edit: can confirm it comes with $5 credit for those $4 sim cards. Never used to include that
