  • Is this 4k?

    • Yep, more or less. I think this is the cheapest I've ever seen the Pro. Especially since it's comes with Gran Turismo Sport which has only been released which you onsell for a decent price

  • I don't know what to buy, PS4 pro or Xbox one x. Any comments?

    • +1

Do you like Sony exclusives better or Microsoft? If you like Japanese games you're better off with a PS4. If you want the highest image quality gaming go for a PC. It has all the MS exclusives plus some of the PS4 console ones.

      • I've only owned a PS2 and really just want shooting games

        • Shooters are mostly the same across them. Xbox has Halo which is good and also PUBG coming… and if you have 4K TV .. the Xbox X is coming out which will be closer to true 4K than PS4 pro but will be more expensive console.

        • @cocopops: with our dollar dropping I'm wanting to buy everything now before it costs more.

        • I would go PS4 personally. It has a bigger playerbase, has better exclusive titles and doesnt have used games restrictions like on some Xbox games.

        • @Gpig: what type of used game restrictions are there?

        • @Gpig:

What used games restrictions are you on about? There is no such thing.

    • 4k blu ray xbox one x (even the one s has it) no playstation plays 4k blurays

      • I only use Kodi lol

        • Go Xbox, waaaaaay more powerful and even has the simple stuff like backwards compatible (without having to rebuy stuff like ps) also better controller, and you get to keep ya free games from live, not like ps+ where u gta have an active account

          @quote:

Xbox one also needs active account for the "free" games with gold. Only on Xbox 360 the games you get to keep when your subscription lapses. So they both the same in that regard.

No one has mentioned this yet but I would say the best thing about Xbox is EA ACCESS. $40 a year gets you access to a whole ton of games. https://www.ea.com/en-gb/ea-access/games
I never buy any ea sports games anymore as you get access to all of them 7-8 months after release. There is also Xbox games pass (subscription Netflix type like ea access) and Xbox play anywhere (some digital games let you own it on both Xbox and PC).

If you love single player games with narrative then PS4 is the one to go for, many great games there like uncharted series and last of us. Player base is also bigger on PS4 which helps but usually have no issues finding players on either.

  • Who is cheaper for online gaming,Xbox or PS4?

    • +1

Xbox gold 12 months subscriptions: $80
      Playstaion plus 12 months subscription:$90

This is the RRP through their official website, of course some third party seller can sell it for cheaper. I for one never paid RRP for the subs.

  • Do you download games online for the PS4 or do you buy the DVD and play?

    • +1

Either or, you can download games or you can buy bluray games. All the normal places sell them, EBgames, Noel Leemings, Harvey Norman, the Warehouse. Of course you can get games from overseas like NZgameshop which tend to be UK copies that work out cheaper than locally

I still rent games from my local video store, but I have an United States PSN account for my PlayStation plus subscription, as it is cheaper

    • +1

      Either way is fine.

Now both disc games and download games takes up the hard drive space so for me it comes down to the price and size of the game.

I would go with whichever is cheaper to get at that time. But sometimes a game is like 50gb+ to download then I would just buy the physical copy to save time downloading.

      • Very nice Vincent!
