Samsung 850 EVO needs no introduction. It's one of the best SSDs on the market!
Samsung 850 Pro is the EVO's big brother. Slightly faster speeds, a longer warranty*, and a higher TBW.

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB:

Samsung 850 Pro 256GB:

2.5% fee based on Visa Debit Card. Warehouse Money is 2.0%. I do not know of a card higher than 2.5%.

NOTE: Samsung does not have a global warranty. However Amazon will provide an initial warranty.

  • I think it's been discussed here and on OZB before that Samsung does not offer a global warranty, however Amazon will provide an initial warranty (unsure how long).

If you want a good quality SSD with an international warranty, I suggest purchasing an Intel SSD (Source).

    • Any Intel SSD deals?

      • Most Intel SSDs are priced the same if not more if you include the shipping from overseas.
If I went with an Intel SSD, I'd probably pick the Intel 545s 256GB (released Q3 2017). It's on sale at PB Tech tonight for $143.75.

Intel's top of the line range (datacenter range) may work out cheaper from overseas, but I haven't looked into them.

Not a big deal IMO. Generally with SSDs if they plug in and power on they are good for years
