In NZ can you claim for work related expenses such as travelling to work via public transport? Or is that considered personal use and therefore not eligible to be claimed?
Are you allowed to claim any work related expenses in NZ?

Can't claim anything if you're an employee.
Can claim if self-employed (sole trader or business), but then you wouldn't be catching a bus to work I suspect.
