Apple iPad (2017) - 32GB Wi-Fi Gold - $389 + Shipping (Import) @ Dick Smith

150

Deal is back, however this time it is the gold colour instead of grey. This is through Dicksmith.co.nz, however shipping is from Australia. In the previous deal someone said Warehouse Stationery would price beat by 5% so you can try there for even better price, or if you have no luck with that try Noel Leeming price match either instore or online.

  • Great deal but prehaps there will be a new model coming next month.

  • I purchased the earlier deal. shipping took over a week. Item brand new and Aus/NZ stock, strangely also came with an adapter of NZ power (not needed.)

    • aussie / nz use the same plugs, odd that it came with another.

    • I purchased this deal when they had it earlier as well, order placed on 12th Feb and still waiting for it to arrive…

  • Previously I got warehouse to price match and i used their visa card to get 5% off. They werent fussy about colour either.

    • +1

Which branch did you go to? I went to the warehouse in royal oak, auckland and strangely they told me they didn't do price matches.

      • Last time I asked the warehouse online service guy and she told me she had to check with their vender to make sure whether it's the same model and get back to me in 2-3 working days, then ……they disappeared……even I send other mail to ask them about the query, no reply at all. That's so funny, not even a NO and any explanation. I just want to say to theWAREHOUSE, If you can't make it, please eat your slogan and promise.

        • Well I mean its not good practice for them to not reply you. But at the end of the day, its your fault for not reading their "price promise" since the explanation you are trying to find is on their website. Its not that they don't follow their price promise, its more of the item you're trying to buy does not fit within their terms and conditions. Some people get lucky with their price match but thats only because the employees there doesnt know better.

"Technology products and online only products will be price matched only. The item must be from a New Zealand based retail store with a .co.nz website only. Price Promise excludes: phone cards, gift cards and postage stamps, clearance products, limited quantity products, parallel imports, store opening deals at The Warehouse or at our competitors' stores, items on Red Alert and price comparisons to any overseas based company."

*Note dick smith clearly states "imported" which falls within the parallel imports exclusion.

        • @Tomo:
Thank you for your clarification. Yes, I am a mean customer, actually I don't mind to be rejected. But I think every customer shall be respected. I also asked noelleeming as well, they gave me a clear NO the first time with detailed reason. That's fine, they have the right to say NO and I was also satisfied with it. But "noreply" is definitely not a good way to the customer.

        • @Tomo: I was hoping to be lucky enough to come across the employees that didnt know better, and give me the price match, unfortunately they knew better haha

      • Albany. The guy I dealt with just wanted to know that it is from a .co.nz site. Didn't check whether it's import or not.
