Copy of Last Jedi/ Thor Ragnarok Blu Ray ($5) @ EB Games, in Store Only

30

Noticed a weird deal in store at EB Games yesterday

Trade any used PS4 or Xbox one game (worth a minimum of $5) and they will GIVE you a Blu Ray of The Last Jedi / Thor Ragnarok

I didnt have a game so went straight to the warehouse and brought a clearance game for $15 and took it back and got a copy of Star Wars Blu Ray. I called the store to make sure my trade in was worth $5 in their system which it was :)

Seemed to be to good to be true but I got no prob!
Dont know if its on their website or flyer but it's definitely in all stores!

  • I saw flyers for Thor in store in the months before it was released - traded in an old game of mine for it as a "preorder". Didn't know about Star Wars though - I'll ask in store about it

What clearance game from The Warehouse did you use?

    • Mirrors Edge Catalyst PS4 but i called the EB branch with the title to make sure it was a $5 trade in. Each Warehouse store will have its own clearouts. or go to a second hand shop

      • My local store said the deal was only for preorders and isn't available anymore :(

    • Yes you can probably buy one of these for $1 and then trade it in for the Blu Ray! LOL

    • Thanks for the link

    • Criminal that Just Cause 3 is that cheap. That game series is friggen awesome!

  • damn i was going to go to manukau today wish i had known about this but manukau if they had any cheap items they will be long gone by now

    • Went to 2 different stores today, there was No $1 items left. Even the site says that it could have stock in that store, there was none left.

Did you ask the staff to check? Sometimes the items are preorders the customer never picked up and are sitting out the back. They usually aren't shy about selling them to you! I got a cheap wireless Xbox controller this way.

        • Thanks, I didnt ask them. Didn't think they stored things at the back =)

I wouldn't be surprised if the staff had bought everything before the store even opened.
