Terms and Conditions of current promotion
    https://www.parkmate.co.nz/promotions/

"Each promotional code can be used only once, unless otherwise specified."

Not sure I understand this, sounds like it can only be used once, even when there's a balance after the session?

    • I doubt that is the case. Anyone used it and knows?

You get 'credit' within the app and you can use it up over time so yes you can use it multiple times. This is a great deal!

    • Yes mine expires 1st September

Lol this may sound like a good deal because $30 credit sounds like a lot, but come on have you guys clicked on some of their parking fee rates?
I just scrolled through some of these parking rates in auckland CBD and its like $3-$5 for 20min… 20-60min for $10. $5 for every 30min after the first hour etc…
The only times I've ever seen such crazy parking rates in Auckland is probably the airport lol…

    • Yeah that's true, their hourly rates are pretty ridiculous. But it's not too bad for the early bird rates. The one I park at next to Spark Arena is $11 a day for early bird, so almost 3 days of free parking.

      • Do you know if the indoor railway parking by spark arena is open? Google says it is permanently closed but Parkmate shows it open?

        • I park at the outdoor railway parking, right next to the indoor one, so not 100% sure, although I believe it is still open though.

        • @genesis133: ok thanks

  • Is this working with any parking spot in all around New Zealand? Or only for Auckland?

    • Christchurch shows about 100 valid carparks in the CBD (which is pretty much all carparks anyway)

  • Nice find, thanks. I registered.

$30 credit, valid at all times Mon-Sun, expires 1st Sept. So 3 and a bit months to use it. Not bad.

I think the one-time use thing was meaning you can only apply the STUFF30 promo code once.

Yes the parking rates in Akl are crazy but I think that's just standard Wilson carparking rates - I don't think they're inflated just for this payment app (though there is a 50c 'transaction fee').

The android app pinged my location permission before I even managed to register - if you're privacy conscious you may block that permission and just allow it as and when required. It only took me a few seconds to zoom out of Auckland map and scroll down to another part of the country - parking locations are clearly identified, so as long as you already know roughly where in NZ you are you'll (probably) get by just fine without it :-)

The terms and conditions are a bit draconian, I can live with them for a few months if only for the $30 credit.

  • Am already registered on the app so can't use this code with my existing login. Has anyone successfully used it with a new login? Guess your license plate and cell number will still be the same even if you use a different name so they'll work it out.

  • Hi

i also received a e-mail for survey and got another $20 credit on top of $30
