What sucks is I already bought into the container door deal. Paid $100 more and have to wait another month and half :(

    • Same, not enough people yet and 16 hours to go. Tempted to buy this instead, but the container deal says "If we do not meet the minimum threshold we may be able to consolidate with other products on our website to do so." so not sure.

      • Apparently you can call them up and cancel over phone if it hasn't closed yet. That's what someone said in the last Container Door thread.

    • do refund with this un-official seller. cancel it.
They are not provide the Warranty also!

      • Actually they say they will meet their obligations under the CGA. I think your comment is misleading.

        "Warranty and Guarantee
All goods offered by us carry a 1-year warranty.
If goods are faulty and not repairable we will either exchange it for you or give you a full refund, whatever you desire.
We are a New Zealand company so you are protected by a series of guarantees set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act."

    • Got invoice at midnight, shows container full now. Oh well, I got 10% discount, $644 including postage to Wellington.

  • Note per the picture it's 100 (70 black + 30 white) for Saturday and same amount for Sunday. I assume it would be the same for the 140 black + 140 white online (plus shipping perhaps) otherwise I'd argue the ad is misleading.

    • Cheers, updated description.

  • Wow that is a good price.

  • I started a new deal for the other special they're currently advertising. I was wondering if it would be better to keep them in one thread but then again it's a mobile phone so different category. BTW website says online event starts 1 pm Saturday

  • Wow. Xiaomi has some pretty competitive prices phones etc (pocophone f1 for example)
Some much needed competition for the nz market

    • +1

Yeah I'm wondering if they're going to have the Pocophone F1 on opening day and if they so, what the special limited price will be. Looks like they've finished deals for today though. Could be the last deal they reveal on Thursday or even Friday in their final attempt to build hype since they already unveiled the scooter today for the initial hype.

      • No LTE band 28 for the Pocophone, so I'd doubt we'll see it here. However if it does show up then it will probably be the 128GB global version. I got mine at the Xiaomi store in Hong Kong for around NZ$540 so I think it will cost at least NZ$600 here with GST included. No issues with LTE reception on Warehouse Mobile.

If you're in the market for a Pocophone then I suggest you get the red one. It looks far better in person than the grey & blue ones.

        • Pocophone 64GB for $479 opening special, so possibly $579 usually given that both of their other specials are $100 off.

          • @tieke: $599, was thinking would either be $579 or $599

Always wanted one but at the moment with the lime scooters there's a "bad reputation" around electric scooters so i will hold off for now.

    • Just waiting for lime to pull out and sell their scooters for chips

Is this definitely the M365 version? As im aware they also have a cheaper lower range version as well, so just want to make sure. I can't see a model number in the advert so I'm not sure.

    • +2

Yeah its on their page. It comes with 30km range which is the full version not youth.

      • Thanks

        • Do you know what kind of incline it can handle with a 55kg wife on it? :) Wondering if it can navigate some of Brooklyn hill with her on it.

Is there a map that shows inclines? Not sure how step the hill is?.

          • @kiwijunglist: You can use the biking mode on google maps. It shows you the change in elevation.

    • I updated the other thread for everything that fits or fits best there. I left the fitness tracker, home scale and sports ear phones for here. But if the OP wants to list everything here, go ahead.

      • Just updated cheers

  • this scooter is only selling for 380 NZ dollars in China, I try to bring it over, but the airline does not allowed because of its battery

    • +1

Yeah thats the dilemma we're all dealing with. Battery powered stuff is cheaper but once you factor in the special shipping cost, its much more expensive than here.

      • Even if you check in and not hand carry?

        • Yeap they strict. Saw them taking power banks off people too.

  • +1

The scale model number is XMTZC02HM if anyone is interested

  • Welp, nothings adding to cart.

    • Well it's not surprising their website can't handle the load. But just keep trying I got the Note and battery although since I have to pay for shipping for not going to bother and Note was just to try

  • Most things show sold out already within a couple of minutes

    • More like 90 seconds. Waste of time

      • +1

You think fooling around on the website for 90 seconds was a waste of time? By 9:30 the que must have had 300++ people in it. I'm not sure why people were still bother to que since I'm fairly sure all special priced items were long gone before they reached probably even half the que. At 11:30 the que had reduced but probably 100++ strong even though I think they were already telling people all of their super specials were sold out

BTW PB Tech logins worked so anyone who had one was probably at advantage. Adding items to cart doesn't guarantee it even though it also only stays in the cart for 30 mins as the check out page may say out of stock. That said it said out of stock and then later was okay, I guess as people failed or something, not sure. I suspect by now though it's all gone.

Also should mention their pick up option isn't available yet. Shipping to Auckland (North Island) for a Note 3 and power bank or power bank by itself is $5.75 inc GST

  • just got a power bank, just keep trying even ages after it says sold out

    • yip , jumped on just now, scooter, power bank, etc all fluxing in/out of stock. Best view is the all products view.

  • +1

Couldn,t checkout even though items were in my cart. PB Tech error message.
If I knew PB was running this, i wouldn't have had high hopes

  • even just tried to add a scooter for the try, worked

    • Yeah scooter works cause they aren't sold out yet. I doubt the demand is there.

      • +1

There were quite a lot of people buying them in the physical store. Still seemed to be the case at 11.30. I don't know if they really sold so few (but I must have seen at least 20 within 10 minutes) or they decided to release more stock.

        • Somehow forgot to mention, or if people were still buying them even at RRP

Just saw this as "Breaking News" on NZ Herald lol.

NZ media lately has jumped on any story with the word scooter in it 😂

      • Haha yeah almost everyday I've seen an article on Stuff about Lime Scooters. Great free advertising for them lol.

    • Interesting that all the people were just queuing for a "glimpse of the scooter". Surely some were actually after other stuff.
The new South Park about scooters and trick or treating is great.
