As they are one of the cheaper providers (at around $20 a month cheaper than Spark/Voda for the same fibre) who I was going to signup with anyway, this is a nice little addon.

Yes, if you sign a 24 month contract which is still a little more expensive - dont have a mobile with them so that offer doesn't work for me, and they are impossibly difficult to deal with, they increased my VDSL to $95 from $80 - and when I asked them to change it to the $79 plan they said its only for new customers. I also asked for the stuff you get with the cost I am paying - ie the $95 Vodafone TV thing, they couldnt swap the plan they said, had to sign up again. The 3 months free is also for new customers only. Nice, after 10 years + - guess time to look elsewhere.
Not to mention, you cant do anything via email or do it online, it all has to be via phone (with 30min + waits) with people who speak english, but dont understand it. I guess i could have tried again, but why bother.
So yeah.
This is strictly ymmv but if you call vodafone to sign up they give you the 10 dollar off regardless if you have a phone plan with them or not. Even with 79pm with 3 month free on a 24months contract comes to 69 dollars a month so not sure what you mean by still more expensive.
Don't let the pictures fool you. This speaker is much smaller in person! Plus, it's $49.99 @ JB-HiFi.
Doesn't seems to be a good deal at all.
I'm under skinny, just be aware that they are CGNAT. Which means you get no external IP so no access to any internal servers or devices on your network. It also increases you latency in gaming.
So if you into gaming or hosting servers avoid them.But…if you just want internet browsing/email and you enjoy watching a teenager rage out on dropouts and lag in most games. Then grap your popcorn and sign up.
