  • Are these pods good? Reminds me of the pricey proprietary paint for predatory printers.

    • +2

Yes they're the best ones. But we get gouged in NZ. Aussie pays less for theirs. Either way I buy the cheaper alternatives now.

      • Yeah, I recently got back from Sydney to learn they only pay $6.50 per pack! That's the price that supermarkets here charge for the alternatives!

        • I looked at Nespresso.Au site. It looks to be about the same price when you assist for the currency difference.

      • What's the alternative?

        • There are lots of compatible Nespresso pods at the supermarket. You pay around $4.50-$9 per 10 capsules depending on the brand and if it is on special.

Nespresso charge about $9-10 per 10 capsules.

There are also refillable capsules so you can make your own but I've never tried them.

  • They are the best, but yea a bit of a ripoff. I feel they should be 50c at the most.

    • Had a $40 cash back to use. So I paid about $105 ($145-40) for 230 capsules and a free gift (recycling cylinder).

      23 X 10 sleeves (15 sleeve taste pack + 5 sleeve limited edition + 3 X sleeves off my choice of coffee)

They also have $105 for 150 capsules pack plus free gift.

The Paris Black was the nicest coffee I tasted while I was there.

      • I agree, the Paris one is my favorite as well
