Just keep a few dollars aside in case you need to return it, apparently some Transcend 32GB ones got tossed in the pile as well.

    • Not worth the risk of getting the wrong item (twice!)

My experience with Amazon been very positive for the past 15 years. Most of the times they refunded the item without asking me to return it. So if you get a wrong item or DOA, they will refund it. Make sure you chat with them when you request for this.
I had bought an ASUS motherboard from Amazon while I was in SFO on a work trip. Motherboard's onboard HDMI port packed up just within the warranty period. When contacted they mentioned the will refund the 70% of the cost if I don't return the item or return the item and will refund 100%. I thanked them, but mentioned I was expecting a slightly better outcome, the service person came back after discussing with "manager" and offered me a 100% refund plus I could keep the motherboard. Bought a graphics card for the amount and my motherboard was still usable.
If someone wanted this particular SSD, this is a good deal.
Having said that QLC NANDs are not the best for long term reliability and other issues outlined in the video shared by @matthias.
