  • Thanks for the post, looks like a great deal. Where do I see the information about $1 for 5 meals?

    • You'll have to signup with an email to see the deal. Screenshot.

You can just open up your browser in Incognito Mode and signup with a nonsense email [email protected] and you'll see it.

  • I can't get the menu pic to not be blurry. Is it just me?

    • Moved it to Imgur. Try again. Sorry it's a huge long pic.

      • That did it. Thank you. Put a gun to my head, I still think I would be unable to find it myself on their website. It's horrible.

  • No restaurants in Newmarket :( Auckland

  • Can you get more than 1 of ya meals on 1 day? Or is it 1 per

    • I think given you have to reserve the meal the day before you can probably only have 1 meal per day.

After creating your MealPal account you will be able to start reserving lunch. The MealPal kitchen opens daily at 5:00 pm and closes at 10:30 am the next morning. Log in during that time to reserve your meal. Each restaurant offers one meal item per day. You may select from any of the restaurants on the platform.

Each meal is shown with a list of ingredients and a photo of the actual meal. To reserve your meal, tap on the meal image, select your pickup time, and tap reserve.

Your meal will be ready and waiting for you at your designated pick up time. Skip the queue, tell the restaurant you are with MealPal, and enjoy your lunch.

        • Yeah thanks. Found it on Twitter

  • Please forgive my stupidity, is the $1 for delivery charge or is that actually what you paid for a meal?

For 5 meals, gta pick up

  • does anyone know when this deal may expire? im interested but only go into the city during weekends

    • Only works mon-fri

  • Thanks!

  • When I try to sign up to this, it only gives me the option for Sydney or Melbourne.

  • I think it's gone?

  • It's definitely not there anymore, damn would have been interested to try it out.

    • Updated to new link, still works.

  • It's gone I think. Once I signed up there are only the 12 meal/20 meal options.

  • Yeeouch I missed out on this great offer. Was planning to sign up on the weekend so that I can start the meals on Mon. But for a buck, it won't last. Snooze and you lose I guess.

Just updated to new link found on Facebook, give it a go again.

      • gives me 12 MEAL LUNCH $8.49/MEAL and 20 MEAL LUNCH $7.99/MEAL options only, not $1 like the screenshot.

        • Same here.

        • Yep, now that link is expired. All gone.

      • That was quick, but managed to snag a trial, thanks

  • Cancellation of Membership. You may terminate your membership at any time with 7 days’ notice by emailing [email protected]. Following any cancellation you will continue to have access to your membership through the end of the then current Membership Cycle and must, prior to the end of the then current Membership Cycle, pay us any amounts owing.

    • Trials. From time to time we may offer a trial membership that includes standard access to the Site during the trial period. Unless otherwise communicated, a trial begins at the moment of sign-up and ends at 11:59pm on the last weekday of the trial (for a one-week trial, this would be the same weekday of the following week). Each trial membership automatically will convert to a regular membership and price unless cancelled by 12pm on the weekday before the last day of the trial. If you cancel your trial membership and do not convert to a paid membership, then you will not reserve meals to be delivered after the expiry of the trial membership period (even if booking occurred before the end of the applicable trial period). Unless we expressly communicate otherwise, trial memberships are only available to new customers that have never had a MealPal membership before, are not transferable, may not be combined with other offers or redeemed for cash and are void where prohibited.

      • Assuming this offer is the trial then, therefore not requiring the 7 day notice, just 12pm the day before the last.

        • I cancelled straight away and still have access to my meals, did not get a cancellation email though so am hoping they don't try to charge for a month at the end of the trial (Google is full of unhappy customers)

          • @quote: From what I have read (so far) those ppl were unaware they had to stop the subscription before the trial ends if they don't want to be charged further. Anyways, fingers crossed and be prepared for a battle ahead…

    Deal is back!

    • Just has Melbourne or Sydney as options for me.

      • Ha, it definitely was showing other countries when I posted but yeah only Melbourne/Sydney now.

        • +1

Would be great if they have the deal once every week or fortnight lol

  • These guys just charged me for 12 meals, even though I put a hold on my account

    • how long was the hold period?

      • That's where I think I may have made a mistake, sad though because I didn't get any notification whatsoever that my billing will continue

        • +1

I was on hold, but the only way to then cancel that I could find was to reactivate first. Couldn't do anything on the site while I was on hold. Clicked it, and it charged me the 12 meal plan instantly. Their site is a mess, I bet it breaches fair trading laws somewhere.
Anyway… I emailed them and told them to cancel it and refund me, and they did.

          • @Jizah: I placed my account on hold, but could cancel as well. All done on the app, as the Web browser version is lacking alot of options.

            • +1

@The Hound: I was sure the app told me to use the website to cancel haha. I dunno, just glad that ordeal is over.

          • @Jizah: Thanks for that, I have just contacted them

I've just tried to sign up with a discount URL I got handed at the train station (last week? or Monday?) www.mealpal.com/wellington74, it took me to a page offering 5 meals for $1 instead, score.

    • Wellington only. Must be a similar introductory promo we had in Auckland just a few weeks ago.
