How to spend New World Dollars in-store:
1. Let the checkout operator know you’d like to pay using New World Dollars.
Scan your Clubcard through the EFTPOS terminal.
Enter your 4-digit PIN when promoted. If you haven’t already set up a PIN number, do this online at clubcard.co.nz or call the New World Clubcard Helpline on 0800 80 70 70 before heading in-store.

To get New World Dollars you’ll need to be a Fly Buys earning New World Clubcard member. If you’re not a Clubcard member, you can sign up here. You’ll need to wait until you’ve received your Clubcard before you can get New World Dollars.
A maximum Clubcard limit of $2,000 New World Dollars applies, so if you’re swapping a large amount of points, we recommend checking your current balance beforehand. You can do this at clubcard.co.nz. The promotion ends on Monday 29 April 2019.
New World Dollars are automatically loaded onto your New World Clubcard (excludes digital Clubcard) and can be used as either full or partial payment for purchases at any New World store including New World Fresh Collective. Excludes New World fuel sites and online purchases at I shop.
New World Dollars cannot be exchanged or refunded in full or part for Fly Buys points or cash.
When using your New World Dollars at the checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter a 4-digit PIN. If you haven’t set up a PIN yet, the default PIN is ‘0000’. Just be careful. The swap to New World Dollars can be a bit of a rip-off. You can get "more bang for your buck" with other Flybuys rewards.
For example, it costs 285 Flybuys points to get a $50 New World card, but you could get a 6-month TV Guide subscription for 265 Flybuys points, which (if you buy it every week) actually saves you $75.40 off the in-store price … so that reward means you're $25 and 20 Flybuys points better off.
It pays to do your homework and some maths before jumping in on these deals. It's the same with ASB Bank's True Rewards scheme - you're often better off using the card in-store rather than getting any of the rewards from the True Rewards website.
