That's true, but how can you predict what's the deal when it is scheduled to start at specific time?
Think its there to prevent hype which can easily turn out to be no deals at all as no one actually knows what the deal is going to be. Since a lot of stores in NZ does this kind of stuff like PB Tech consistently has MEGA BIG WEEKEND SALE type of stuff sent out on their news letter all the time but there ends up being no worthwhile deals in it.
I think its just one of the rules here, its also the same on Ozbargain site too.
