50% off Waterpik Oral Irrigators $149 + Free Shipping from Shaver Shop NZ

10

These used to be around $220 and come down to maybe $180 on sale. Recently they put the price up to $299. But I spotted they are 50% off at the moment and $149 is the best price I have ever seen for these in NZ. Both the black and white models are on special. I'm not sure whether the price applies in store but if you buy one online delivery is free anyway.

(This is my first time posting a deal. Sorry if I've screwed anything up)

You should check out the prices at chemist warehouse for these if you have one nearby. I see them at this price all the time there and it seems to be their normal daily price around $150 or cheaper.

You could also get the Waterpik Ultra which is a better version from Amazon UK, they've drop down to $110NZD shipped quite a few times. I got both of mine from Amazon UK.

    • Which specific Waterpik did you get? Do you just need a plug adapter?

Got mine when it went under 50 pounds. At checkout they will remove 20% VAT and then add 15 pounds for shipping.

The UK versions run on the same voltage as NZ but they have the UK 2 prongs plug. I just shove one of those universal adapters on it and it works normally.

        • Cheers. I'll set a price watch for when it dips under 50 pounds

    • +1. I have one that I bought years ago and it was also around this price. Chemist Warehouse had the mon sale at $120 or something a while ago. I even saw one at $100~$110 somewhere (can't remember).

And there are alternatives on TM as well:

And I think Pricewise or similar shops sell these at some point too. Personally, I would still recommend using normal floss. Waterpik can damage your gums, as it did with mine. Also, it doesn't clean as well as a normal floss. I still use mine, but at the lowest setting (to avoid gum damage or damaging the tooth enamel). I use it first to clean out most of the stuff stuck in between my teeth, then I floss, then brush, then use oralbrush on my tongue, then mouthwash. This is apparently the best order for oral hygiene. You should wait 20~30 mins after brushing to keep the toothpaste in your mouth protecting the teeth though, instead of rinsing with mouthwash immediately.

    • I have a chemist warehouse close by, I have bought a water flosser but it is incredibly loud, it's made by a local kiwi brand, how loud are these?

I wouldnt say its incredibly loud for these ones but it is still loud. Its just the sound of the pump going. Louder than the sound of my oral b electric tooth brush motor. Its quite hard to describe it but I've never found them loud enough to find them annoying to not use it. Personally I also still recommend normal flossing if you have stuff in between the teeth, its still much nicer to use normal floss for it. I mainly use these to clean around the gingival margin

        • Thank you

    I found WP-100 on Catch.co.nz only selling for $119.95 instead of $149
