This is correct; now the latest is UE Megaboom 3 (not sure what happened to 2). However it looks like the main components are basically the same; the speaker and battery specification etc. are comparable to its predecessor so this one is much better value!
The Megaboom 1 has AUX in whereas MEGABOOM 3 does'nt. I'll stick to Megaboom 1!
The Megaboom launched at the same time as the UE Boom2 so therefore there was't really a first Gen UE boom "Megaboom"
This is True, however I'd say its extremely unlikely you would find a better deal than this for a Bluetooth speaker of this size and quality. The fact remains you could buy two of these, pair them up and still have change rather than buy one of the new ones.
