    Back in the days they were well known for their vacuum cleaners. But things have changed I believe, for the worse? I think.

    But I'll get the extended warranty just as so I won't have the hassle of arguing my way using our rights Consumer Gaurantee's Act. If it breaks, they fix it, or replace it with a better one

    3 year warranty as standard so hopefully not a lemon. there are even lesser known brands that sell heatpump dryers but they start from $1300, so this one is a deal imo.

  Note that tumble dryers tend to be cheaper for whole of life cost. They do cost alot more to run but are cheaper to buy, easier to repair and can last 3-4 times as long as the newer more advance dryers.
  Tumble dryers can last decades whereas these newer types last around 5 years and if they breakdown they tend to not be economical to fix.
  In saying that this is a simlar price to top model domestic tumble dryer.

  laundry mats still use tumble dryers for a reason

    condenser is very different from a heat pump dryer.
