I contacted them last time they had this deal as an existing customer and they gave it to me as well for signing up to another 12 month contract. Well worth it

    • thanks, im a current customer and will give this a go

  • This is their standard offer

  • If you got this for three months then quit, and repeated for a whole year, you'd pay $796 in termination fees ($66.33 per month) and get four modems. If you sold three of the modems unopened on TradeMe for about $60 each, your average cost per month would be $51.33. This would be cheaper than staying with Bigpipe for the 12-month term, even taking into account the free months.

Haha that's some real number crunching there. Most people wouldn't be bothered with it, there are better ways of saving 20 bucks a month.

      • You'd save $365 a year if you chose the Elite plan (700 up, 400 down) — you'd be on the fastest plan for less than the cost of the slowest plan.

    • do you get to keep the modem? everyone seems to be able to keep modems, but everytime i have a new connection (1 a year) I have to return the modem or pay for it, i've been with bigpipe aswel

      • I know with Spark you get to keep the modem. I've been with Bigpipe before but not with a bundled modem deal. My impression of Bigpipe is that they run pretty lean and probably wouldn't want to employ staff to deal with hardware returns and refurbishing.

      • Get to keep the modem, Big pipe and spark are the same company.

    • Can you get the deal again straight away? I think it's quite common you need to be away for 3 months or more to get it again /be counted as a new customer.

    Have a look at

    www.glimp.co.nz

Lots of options to compare internet services and they sometimes get 'glimp' only deals.
It's apparently fairly new in the market and are looking for reviews.
I received a $20 MTA voucher for my review.
