You tell MyTask what you are willing to pay, and they advertise the job at less 15%. E.g you are happy to pay $100 to have your windows cleaned, the job is advertised for $85.
Sounds like a great idea to earn some extra $ however I live near Whangarei and despite setting a range of 50KM only one $60 gardening job comes up which is 34KM away. So 68Km round trip to earn $60 gardening - no way. Until a service like this can reach a critical mass of jobs it's just not worthwhile :(
Does anyone know who gets pinged for the 15% service fee? If I post a $100 job, do I pay $115 or does the other person get $85?
