4TB Seagate HDD $99. I don't know any further details.

    • nice thanks!

    • Yeah… Any link? Or is it finished?

      • Sale is on Friday (and usually the following Monday). Friday sale is in-store, Monday sale is online.

    • Great, what kind of hard drive is that for (3.5"/2.5" & internal/external)? Thanks.

  • Strange that it's on Friday the 15th. Usually black friday is on the 29th of November

Knowing Briscoes, sorry I mean Harvey Norman, damnit sorry I mean PBTech, they will probably have a different promotion every second week through to forever (but especially through to Christmas/New Years)

      • Lol

Yea they always do it earlier for some reason. Agree they always have a sale.
But generally there's the odd good deal with their black Friday list, not worth waiting an hour in line good, but buy on cyber Monday good.

    • Yeah strange, had be confused at when Black Friday was really suppose to be, also since they were one of the first retailers that pushed Black Friday in NZ.

They probably do it to beat everyone else to the punch and get a larger piece of consumer pre holidays spending. I personally don't mind it gives me more opportunities for price matching and less running around on the real BF

And their site DNS is screwed :)
    Keen at the $99 HDD

    • I wonder if it's shuckable .. guess we'll have to wait until Thursday!

      • Great if can shuck, otherwise will connect to my Raspiberry as 'NAS'

  • A comparison for that SSD

Samsung is $46 (with company discount) more expensive but perhaps the sale will drop it in price?

    • What company? curiosity is all. I use AKLCOUNCIL and the discount isn't that big (from a previous deal listed here)

        Hey, I use SPARK.
I realise my comment might have been confusing when initially reading.

Samsung is $116 with company discount, $125 without
        Kingston is $69 on sale.

  • all deals now visible online

  • removed comment due to not being 100% sure on the model variant, so benefit of the doubt :\

FYI - managed to get JB Hifi to price match the $99 sale price for the 4TB Seagate hard drive.

    • nice , yes forgot to mention noel leeming and others have been known to pricematch this sale but ymmv

      • I tried NL first but they were not able to, but JB Hifi were really good about it. Saved me the credit card fee that PB Tech would have charged as well.

  • i went down at 11am in wellington to pick something up (not sale) was already ppl waiting, store person said they got there before they opened this morning. crazy

  • The line at the Auckland CBD one extends almost to Customs st. Absolute madness. I just don’t see how any of the deals would even be worth it if you factor in the time spent in that damn line?

    • Maybe some people thought this was the taco bell line lol

    • Second this. What is so cheap that you need to waste a whole day waiting?
