I found ami to be the same price for my car as State and AA insurance so I took out a year policy and will recieve the $50 gift card in the mail. :)
Same here, I'm with Tower insurance, AMI is about $150 more for me as well, so couldn't justify the $50 giftcard
I highly recommend tower. Hassle free claims.
They made my claim 'slightly difficult' but I managed to get them to waive my excess in the end. So in my case, I would not call it 'hassle free'. They were one of the cheapest in the market, so I expected them to be difficult to deal with.
FYI if you call AMI (or any insurer) they will usually match or beat the other insurer premium, but you want to make sure you get the online $50 Z gift card somehow…
Also AMI came in around $450 for my 2008 Toyota Wish, whilst AA, State, Tower were all over $530… I do recall a few years ago getting a quote from AMI being high, perhaps they have altered their online algorithm now?
Im with amp/vero, did a quote on car insurance last night with ami and ami was about $150 more for me. Plus ami couldnt match anywhere near the agreed value my current provider offers.
