Texas Chicken's deal of 8 wings for $4.99 is back but on Tuesdays now. No idea when it will end, just says "limited time" but it only started last Tuesday (I think) so guess it's still valid. If you are able to order online, you can probably also this any day, see https://www.cheapies.nz/node/20749 which still seems to be valid. (I just checked their online store.) Unfortunately their new Hamilton store doesn't seem to have online ordering yet. Also when I tried this a few months ago they didn't seem to be very good at fulfilling online orders.
You may also be able to get 10 Tenders for $10. This was posted 2 weeks ago https://www.facebook.com/TexasChickenNewZealand/photos/a.755… Maybe they replaced it with the wing deal but if so it's fairly confusing marketing to say "still ongoing" when it's the last day. (The tender deal has been going on since August I believe https://www.facebook.com/TexasChickenNewZealand/photos/a.755… . I forgot about posting it at the time.) The tender deal isn't available online even on Tuesdays AFAIK.
Edit: Also someone says the Rotorua store told them it's still ongoing.
