As I mentioned in a post, I wanted to buy the Warehouse Black Friday new version Nintendo Switch+Game for $479.
I was tossing up whether to buy it and something else via the Market with the $50 Market voucher or via the Warehouse using my Warehouse Visa, either of which would effectively make the Switch around $450.
Unfortunately I chose the Market, and the Warehouse have simply cancelled the Switch part of the order (but of course are sending and charging me for the extra item which I only bought because it would be covered by the voucher).
Needless to say the Warehouse price has now gone back up.
The Market support just say that it was cancelled because the Warehouse "wouldn't be able to send it within the timeframe", and that the Warehouse must be out of stock. When I pointed out that I had no problem waiting, and that it was still in stock at the Warehouse (both in local stores and online), they said they aren't the retailer and would "pass on my feedback".
Lets just say that I won't be buying any further items via the Market.
I'm actually contemplating a ComCom complain on The Market, the cancelling of orders are just getting a bit too much. Mine was on a different product, I was first given reason, "unforseen circumstances", when I questioned further, was told it's "unavailable from their inventory location where our orders are sourced from", I don't think that's acceptable. In my opinion, it's "misleading" when a website keeps selling products and then cancelling orders.
