Yeah it got back up to 5000 multiple times, I can't imagine that many people signing up for that deal.
Post on reddit has 1.2k upvotes so based on clicks:upvotes ratio on this site I wouldnt be surprised. Also people were getting out of stock messages when it was showing there was stock. My guess is they expected it to be less popular but ended up having to request more keys to keep up
