Do these light up? What type of batteries do they take?

  They don't light up, just a simple extendable plastic and plastic handle (most light up ones are priced a lot more than $18). Makes a good stocking stuffer for this price. Lots of stock at Sylvia Park this morning.

  I did find ones that can light up in the same box in Atrium store but not sure if they are priced the same
