"Everyone knows that LG TV is much better then SONY or SAMSUNG these days."

I'm sorry but a blanket statement like this shows how little you understand TVs.

I'd take a VA panel with proper full local dimming like the ones found in the Sony to that LG TV (most likely IPS with edge led) any time of the day.

      • You are right, this sony tv is at the higher end of led televisions.

Everyone knows that LG TV is much better then SONY or SAMSUNG these days. !!!!

which one is better? OLED or non OLED? !!!!

Way too much xmas turkey for this techno challenged elf.

Unless you game or watch the news flat-out (in which case burn-in can be an issue), or can only watch TV in very brightly-lit rooms (OLED has much lower peak brightness, but the blacks go straight down to zero - that's how you experience HDR in a dark room) an OLED is generally the better option. But then again you're not going to find an OLED at this price range.

The future I think is Dual-Cell displays like the Hisense ULED XD (HZ65U9E) shown at CES back in January, with dual panels giving you 1 million+ local dimming zones and blacks at 0.00003 nits. Micro-LED is still in the experimental stage, whereas this Dual-Cell tech is based on current tech, and looks ready to go.

      • Yes and you can buy 2 to 3 LED tvs for 1 OLED tv

    • I will go for Samsung qled than any other oled. Very Happy with my Samsung q75r. On a side note this sony tv is way better than any non-oled/qled available.

  • Double post. Pls delete.

  • Using one - not disappointed
