City Maps 2Go Pro or Premium Offline Maps is being offered free for a limited time. Great app if you are travelling overseas and don't want to use mobile data.

There are 3 versions of the app: BASIC, PRO, & PREMIUM. Differences

Basic gives you one map, PRO gives you unlimited maps and no ads, PREMIUM is more customisation/lists.

PRO is available for iOS but PRO & PREMIUM is available to Android.

iOS and Android

Steps to get the free pro or premium version:
1) Download the standard version of the app from the Google Play Store/iOS store.
2) Open the app. From the menu, select "Redeem a code"
3) Enter the code PROSUPP (for pro version) or PREMSUPP (for premium version - you must manually enter these codes, do not copy and paste!
4) You should now have pro access to the app for free

      Just tested on Android and works for me.. Make sure you type in codes manually, not copy/paste.

        OK, Pro/Premium is only available to Android. Pro is available to iOS.

    I'm on an iPhone and can't seem to find the "redeem a code" section… only "buy now" within the app. Is it just me?

        I tried this way and it said it redeemed my code and I'm upgraded but when I entered back into the app I still have advertisements at the bottom? Any ideas

          Are you logged in on the app? Maybe try reinstalling the app?

    It's also worth a trip into the app settings to disable the (default on) options to let them track you for "personalization and further processing." Their privacy policy also lines out exactly how they sell your email address for monetisation and marketing purposes. At least they're honest about it!

      From my experience, google had a hard time downloading the map of a whole country. Only maps as big as cities have reasonable download/install time. This however allows you to download a country map without much issues.

    There's a trick for iOS users to use PREMSUPP and get the PREMIUM version but would only work if you have an access to a device that could emulate/use android OS.

    You need to download and install it in the android device/emulator, login/create your account, apply PREMSUPP coupon code and then login with that same account on your iOS device.

    If you just need a free offline map app with navigation you can go for OsmAnd or Nokia Here. OsmAnd is probably amongst the best map apps when it comes to user privacy.

    I've done this and got both upgrades, can i delete app without losing the premium versions?
