Received my 2 sets Friday morning :)
Great find! You have to wonder if any of these sold at the full price
Might be a pricing error. Delivery is 1.5. that can't be right.
Out of stock , or removed
And gone…lol.
Yeah had one in the cart and then it disappeared :(
Luckily I managed to order 2, hopefully it's not a price error.
Page gone. Obviously pricing error. Awaiting cancellation email.
Those who ordered multiple probably alerted them. Good job.Let us know if it comes through. I'd be keen to know if it gets honoured.
Had two cancelled orders in the past from JB so don't get your hopes up. Unless… you order and do a pickup asap.
Order canned. Just got an email from JB
Ordered it online, for store pickup. I'll go get it on my break and report back if the honoured it
Keen to hear your update :D
yes
nice first post jennydeath, i hope thats not your married name.
Link not working anymore, too late.
Attention all - if you ordered this online for store pickup they will honour the purchase.
I went and got mine about half an hour ago
Hope when u were there, there werent any discussion that might raise any alarm (if it is actually a price error…) who knows… it might be a clearance.
Guy behind the desk told me it was a legitimate price error.
Not sure I would pay $449 for it lol. It doesn’t look much different to the AR goggles you can pick up for less than $10, except for the lightsaber?
@Sadie: I was thinking the same too. Is it compatible with other games? I guess not as lightsaber is pretty specific.
@Sadie: That's probably a VR that you're talking about. AR goggles are much more complicated than VR. I'd be surprised to find one for $10.
@stinky111: You can't get VR headset for $10 either. What you can get is something you stick your phone in to use it for VR, but calling what you buy a VR headset is IMO misleading. The combination may be called a VR headset, but not what you buy.
I initially incorrectly though this was part of the Microsoft Mixed Reality campaign so the rest of my initial reply is wrong.
Now that I know more what this about i.e. it relies on the phone as well, frankly I consider it a little expensive for what it is as well. While it is naturally going to cost more than a simple lenses setup to put your phone in, I don't think it has to cost anything like this. The fact that there aren't many alternatives seems to more be a function of the lack of success. I mean even the cheap stick your phone into something for VR hasn't had that much success, and that has a lot less that can go wrong.
Still I don't know if it's correct no one has tried. Aryzon seems to have https://www.aryzon.com/ https://skarredghost.com/2018/07/04/aryzon-ar-headset-2-0-un… So did Mira Prism https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/18/miras-prism-is-a-99-headse… Most of these don't have the controller/sensor aspect of the Jedi stuff, but that shouldn't add that much to the cost.

Just an update - I was lucky and received the set today! Fast delivery too. I was expecting an email of cancellation of order as some others reported that. Now, lets hope its worth it.
My order also got processed yesterday, I shall receive them tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing :)
Have ordered 2 sets for the kids.
