  Not a bad deal, suspect gopros with image stabilisation knocked sony out of the action cam market. Image stabilisation was the advantage. Sony probably have a lot of unsold stock.

    The Sony has optical stabilisation which is very good. I prefer it to the unnaturally smooth digital stabilisation on the GoPro. The Sony also has the better image quality (not talking resolution, but low light performance, colour, dynamic range, etc). GoPro just have better marketing.
