3GB 30-Day Datapack for $9 USD (~$14.50 NZD) with Airalo eSIM

90

Travelling at the moment and came across this eSIM provider that appears to offer cheap prepaid 4G data in NZ.

$9 USD for 3GB of 4G data (through Vodafone's network) with 30-day expiry.

As it's eSIM only it does require a compatible handset (eg iPhone XS, XR, 11).

For comparison, 2gb of 4G data on Spark prepaid currently costs $29.

Keep in mind this doesn't include a phone number.

  • Any other eSIM alternatives? I have a phone with a work number and am keen to use another SIM for more data.

I know that 2Degrees don’t support at the moment.

    • Depends on how much extra data you need but best I've found locally for small amounts is Warehouse mobile where you can buy 500mb data packs for $4 https://www.warehousemobile.co.nz/pricing/

      • I actually am looking for an eSIM carrier (not normal SIM) so that I can have my work (Orcon) and personal (2Degrees) on one phone.

I have the 2Degrees so I can use data clock and get additional GBs.
