These are only $5 more at PBTech?

      • I don’t think PB Tech is parallel imported? Are they? Or is it specific to this product?

      • +3

Uh no… PB tech isnt parallel imported.. #fakenews

          • +1

@Lovediscount: I'd like to see proof that they are in fact parallel imported. I know for a fact that the cost on these are way below your sale price.

          • +1

@Lovediscount: You don't need to check. The majority of their stuff comes from NZ suppliers. If its parallel imported, itd be stated in the descriptions of the item as well. Noel Leeming does the exact same thing with their parallel imported goods.

@Lovediscount: PB Tech's stock is from Sony NZ so maybe fact check your statements before posting.

Anyway it doesn't really matter if they are or aren't in regards to warranty as the CGA won't differ between local or parallel imported stock

        • +1

On Sony's website PB technology is not listed as one of their Retail Suppliers.

          • @pdevonporf: Is this that map thing where it shows all the sony authorized retailers? Since that was the only thing I could see on the Sony website and that thing is wrong. It is old and outdated. It still lists The Good Guys on it which they do not have stores in NZ anymore. Also many stores like smith city, heathcotes, mightyapes, computer lounge all were not listed.

      • +1

Ok $379 at Heathcotes, who are on the Sony NZ authorised sellers list and offer genuine warranty.

Just saying the price is not that low is all.

      • Do you have a single fact to back that up?
Also manufacturer's warranty doesn't really matter as the CGA covers it.

        • +1

(A parallel import) The manufacturer has nothing to do with the CGA . It's the retailer You bought it from And good luck to you getting a warranty claim from a online retailer.

  • Does The Mall accept Strata points for part-payment?

Currently $253 with the cashback and the market 15% off deal https://www.cheapies.nz/node/22875#comment-56463

    • That's for their latest earphones, wF-1000. These are the over-ear headphones, wH-1000. Confusing naming scheme I know, but at The Market with the discounts these only come to ~$408, meaning that this is the better deal. Haven't compared to other stores besides the market though.

The XM4's have just been announced which is likely the reason for this price - we will probably see these go down in general quite soon.

      • XM4 announced? Are you sure?

        • nah after checking i think it was just a leak

      • +1

My bad. Didnt read the description properly. Have both xm3 models. The xm3 are actually a lower build quality compared to the previous xm2, the cost had dropped too on the xm3 which is a good indicator imo.
        Still love these cans though.

Can anyone buy from here or do you have to be travelling to or returning from overseas?

  • Cool Mobile and Expert Info Tech has it for cheaper now at $367.99

Could these be parallel imports too?!? :)

I've had such bad experience with Cool Mobile (and have heard of others with similar bad experiences). I would not recommend purchasing anything from Cool Mobile :(
