This may not look great, but it has some positive and well-written reviews from several of my Steam friends.

Escape from Tethys is difficult action adventure metroidvania game set on the remote planet of Tethys. You are a scientist responsible for developing new weapons tech, when things go awry.

Gang of Four

Free until 5:00 AM on the 6th. Visually this looks decent, but it doesn't have many decent reviews (they're mostly recent one-liners).
