Be careful of import duties of around $300+ NZD when purchasing this

    • I'm unsure if there are import duties or not. I was looking at their listing for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6 and someone asked if the price included shipping and GST. Their response was "This is local NZ stock so the price is inclusive of shipping and GST."

Hi, That's correct. This Legion Y7000 is NZ stock so there are no addition import costs.

  • That is not a good price

    • You know of decent gaming laptops for comparison?

      • I personally use precision/dell I get all my hardware from USA , I used to work for dell , which can be used for gaming but will not be fast enough my personal favourite for gaming will be Acer nitro all amd cpu + gpu which was on special for around 1.4 k nzd at pbtech and some other places

    • Hi umakant, what are you suggestions? Thanks

      • Acer nitro all amd cpu + gpu which is ready available in nz

  • I was considering this, but my issues are, its a 60hz screen & comes with 8GB ram. How easy is the ram to upgrade in this? i know some models have it soldered to the motherboard

@ $1650 it's a good price for i5 & GTX 1660 Ti & confirm with the seller it's NOT the 1660 Ti Max-Q. Recommend spending another $150 for 8gb ram & SSD. Only issue I have is the 60hz display. Once you go 120/144hz it's hard to go back to 60hz. Prob find other deals on TradeMe for 2nd hand brands/models that might be cheaper.

    • This is NOT the Max-Q.
