  Is there any way to redeem this agains an AVG account without installing the software? I already have current AV but would like to lock this in for when it expires without the hassle of uninstalling-installing-uninstalling and re-installing…

    Absolutely right these antivirus software programs are what retailers want to sell you when you already have Windows defender which is a perfectly good antivirus already installed.These software programs also use a lot of resources of the computer with a lot of pop-ups and graphics to impress you.The rule of thumb is if you're going to download from Russian porn sites you're going to get malware spy wear and viruses no matter what antivirus software do you have,So basically don't and use somebody else's computer.
