Logitech G512 Carbon RGB Tactile/Linear - $107.48 Click & Collect | 3X Fly Buys

MOTHERSDAY2020

Was looking for my first mechanical/gaming keyboard and stumbled across Noel Leeming selling the Logitech G512 Carbon for $127.48.

Applying the MOTHERSDAY2020 promotion (expires 10/5) brought the price down to $107.48 which is cheaper than the Pricespy historical low of $109.99.

THE CATCH > The website is showing 'out of stock' so you have to ring up and place an order over the phone (there's a wee wait there) and collect from their Penrose clearance center. There may be an option for them to ship it out for extra but I didn't want to risk complicating the process and tag on a delivery window on top.

So to summarise -
1. Ring 0800 44 44 88
2. Give them the product code of the version you want, LINEAR (162548) or TACTILE (162546)
3. Ask them to apply MOTHERSDAY2020 for $20 discount
4. Make sure they give you 3X Fly Buys
5. Organise for pickup from Penrose Clearance Center (8 Penrose Road, Auckland)

Overall I'm very impressed with the build quality and really pleased with the package and features for the price paid. My previous keyboard was a Dell with chiclet keys so it's quite a bit of an adjustment for me but I think it'll be great.

Good luck & have fun!

    Are the keys really noisy?

Depends on how you define noisy. I'd say every mechanical keyboard is bit clicky. But the Tactile model for this one comes with a relaxing resistance and sound. Try YouTube review see how your feel.

    • use the linear version, it's the least noisiest.
