Whare are you talking about ? Its literally a portal Run by the Warehouse Group which has other merchants on it….
TheMarket was already shite before lock down (see earlier posts). I shudder to think about their service now. Will probably focus on food bag delivery in future, and shut down everything else.
Mate, give them time to respond. Good luck getting responses on the weekend let alone during the week. You have no idea how hectic everything has been and still is. It's just a simple human error it happens in the best of times. They'll get back to you soon enough and you'll be sorted.
It's a weekend give them 5 working days at least to respond. They will be very busy due to increased online orders and also courier delays so their CSR will be swamped currently.
And generally (at least in the 2 instances of problematic order fulfillment I have had with the 3 orders I placed with them) their customer services is below par and ineffective (due in part to their business model)…at least it was when I last ordered through them :\ But yeah the current situation will just compound that and expect it to be even slower.
Buying stuff from any retailer online at the moment is a bit of a nightmare as I have waited up to a month to get things. To be fair I think their business model is great but unfortunately it seems to be in Beta.Returns for me have been a long drawn out process of between 10 days to 3 weeks .I have in the past brought quite a bit of stuff off them and returned a few things and that's where the problem is, no physical store to return large items in my area,Closest being 50 k's away.Things have improved lately though with my local Noel leemings 17 km away so that's a big improvement.I do think they have to improve the 'Market' considerably to come anywhere close to Amazon as the only thing that keeps me buying stuff is their discount coupons and they can't keep that up.
I understand you can return it to the retailer directly, and not go through them.

The Market is (Amazon like ) local online portal, created by The Warehouse Group. So far, my experience was not bad.
I think, their response is slow due to high volume of online orders due to CoVID-19 situation.
Thanks everyone for input. I finally got an email that they forwarded the issue to retailer. Another waiting time with given situation.
My gut feeling has always been that they're a shitmerchant and whatever you're getting, you can get it cheaper and better somewhere else. You have to get a sense for when someone's just trying to profit off of cheap alternatives that nobody will ever love.
Probably find out next that they pay for native advertising on this site or something.
