    • It’s a shame their quality has really deteriorated, not even a BOGO can convince me anymore!

For me their quality has been really good over the past few years. And I've had great service.

      • i dont like their rushed greasy burgers so made a complaint about that and they gave me some coupons, you should let them know which one is dropping standards.
Before i order, i assess the store, see how busy, how many staff on duty, reflect on previous experiences then infiltrate or abort.

        • Although i would normally tend to agree with your suggestion, it also sounds like a lot of admin just for takeaways; I have also tried 4 different stores in the last 6 or so months and unfortunately every single one of them has left me regretting my purchase. Just only the other day was my final store (most local too) and they failed to impress, thus effectively have been blacklisted from my takeaways options!

          • @CheapiesFiend: that sucks. I've never had a bad BF burger in Wellington, mainly go to the Upper Hutt store, sometimes Courtenay Place and Lower Hutt, great burgers and service was fine. order was wrong once about 6 months ago and they fixed it and gave me free chips next time.

      • seems to be depends on location, never had issues say at Glenfield but Silverdale is meh :(

    • This is the sort of thing they generally do one day only probably on Thursday/'World Burger Day'. I'm guessing the figured, that doing it for only one day, even online only, would lead to disastrous queues and media stories, maybe even police attention due to a lack of social distancing. So they spread it out over 4 days and made it once per account so people aren't getting too many and reduce queuing.

  • "It’s World Burger Day this Thursday!" just in case you wondered why (didnt see it posted in this thread)

  • Ok so you have to do it online via logging in and when you choose your burgers you will get the cheapest one free, so don't think you will buy the cheap one and get the most expensive one free.

I dont think anyone would expect that.

I did, but i had to order online this time, i usually would go in tell them the code and when deciding which one to get free, the staff would say "get the most expensive one"

        • The terms and conditions say "Burger shouted to be of equal value or lesser"

          • @RockCartel: I take it the staff didnt mind previously as its never been an issue for me.

            • @[Deactivated]: You must have been to a very generous store. As bmt mention, this is the T&C of pretty much every BOGOF deal. Most do seem to enforce it even offline, I think it's often automatic in their POS system. You're free to order the most expensive product, but you then have to order another most expensive product to get the best deal.

"Free item must be of equal or lesser value" is a condition of pretty much every BOGOF deal..

Thanks got burger for lunch. Can't beat it for 8.25 each.

  • "Code is no longer valid"

    • It still working, Might need to try again later.

      • Still not working for me unfortunately (The code worked at 4pm but I didn't place an order back then).

        • Working for me now, are you ordering the right burgers?

          • @Sadie: I'm ordering the right burgers, perhaps for some reason the site thinks that I've used the code even if I didn't actually place an order?

Edit: I opened a second account, and the code is working again…..

@Avantime: Fairly flawed web design if it thinks you use the coupon as soon as you add it rather than when you actually order. Wonder if it will fix itself tomorrow or something
