Transcend ESD230C 960GB USB Type-C Portable SSD
seems like a very good price for ~1tb ssd
Read Speed (Max.) 520 MB/s
Write Speed (Max.) 460 MB/s
not sure what the 4k speeds are like
use code "PBSMART4ME" for free shipping - thanks @The Hound

I'd recommend pick up option if possible. Delivery delays can be quite long because of backlog and the amount of sales right now.
my shipment came overnight to Palmy from auckland, But perhaps I am the exception
I sent something from Botany to Albany by courier, on 5 May 2020 - it still hasn't arrived. I sent something last week (Botany to Albany), and it arrived already.
I reckon there is a bit pile of parcels, and they are catching up from the front of the pile!
Alan.
@Alan6984: It's all over the place at the moment. There's a Torpedo7 order I'm waiting since 4th. PBTech order was shipped on 19th and I received it this morning. Bough a monitor this week which I received in couple of days.
I guess some places are going through backlog first while others focus on new deliveries.
@Alan6984: It has been widely reported that the depot are working on a crazy First In Last Out basis. So, imagine your package is being crushed under a mountain of parcels, and they are slowly clearing the top of the pile first (since you posted it in the first week or 2 of level 3).
@The Hound: Crushed is an exaggeration. As they are stacked in containers with hard sides.
Got my pbtech order in 3 days shipped via auckland
@Foodie: We put in 2 pb tech orders last week, one at the start of the week and one on Saturday. The first came yesterday and the second came today. So it's a bit variable.
@Everettpsycho: I did split order. Important stuff came fast, cable clips I'm still waiting for pbtech to ship, not waiting on courier.
Just hate all the courier bashing people do.
I have had a Transcend 250gb portable drive for 10years and it is still running fine. :)
Thanks for this. I did click and collect and got the text confirmation it’s ready 30mins later. 😀
Are any of these ssds shuckable? Do they have a usable msata, m2 or NVme drive inside?
I cant find any actual teardowns,i think they are just nand with a sata controller and a usb interface since the benchmarks are around 500MB.

Ah yeah the couriers 'shuck' em all over the warehouse and at the delivery points also !
brah lol!
I have the 240GB version of this and it's been fast and reliable. Not quite as shiny as Samsung's but it performs well.
