  • making simple and easy is important for business and for all.
However efficiency is a bit of different story.
All the functions that the app introduced as what they aim for are already developed and used for many many years by other similar apps.
The functions that Windows build-in file explorer didn't support, such as tabs, deeper searching may essential to some of users in some of user environment.
But being without them is not an end of the world. We can still use searching function, can open another windows for file managing and they can be used for free of charge.
I am not blaming to business model. Its what their aim for.
I am saying is that advertising functions, that already existed and used for long time by other users, as pretty new and like they were the very first company who built that function into our world is not right.
If you are nuts on computing and not really familiar to searching through web looking for the apps you need, It may suits you, saving your time.
If you are on the other-side, it may just an anther junk box of what you already have.

Additionally, looking good UI sometimes means makes you slow.

    • To some extent, you're right, We're not the first group of people who invented some functions like tabs and good search.

Yes, we can still live with Windows built-in file explorer, bear the slow search, keep finding different folders on a messy desktop. But there are always people who want a better experience. So some genius showed up. Then we have Everything (a powerful search plugin), we have explorer++ (a historical tabbed explorer) and so on. Why do we still want to choose to have ExplorerMax?

It's the faith that we can also have better software to deal with solve bunches of daily file-related issues in a modern way. It doesn't have to be super geek or computing-involved. We hope it simple to use, looks fancy, and fulfills normal needs in one software. It's still a 2.0 version, we have much more to offer in the future. And we're keeping improve it.

That's why I'me here to giveaway the license key. I want to hear more voices, needs, and see some responses.

Thank you still for the feedbacks. Hope to surprise you in the future, if we still get the chance.

  • Plenty of free alternatives out there instead of paying what seems to be a subscription license for this.
